From 2011 until 2016, when the station declared bankruptcy and ceased all broadcast operations,  I was a content producer, nominating committee member, and  live news host for Central Coast Public Radio KUSP, Santa Cruz.

From 2006 until my retirement in 2011, I was News Director for BYU Broadcasting at Brigham Young University, where I supervised and mentored a staff of broadcast journalism students on KBYU-FM while serving as Executive Producer/Relief Host of the interview program, "
Thinking Aloud".  I hosted public affairs programming on the university's national satellite channel,  BYU-TV and anchored live election coverage on PBS affiliate, KBYU-TV-11, Provo.  In 2009, I was Interim News Director for BYU's Department of Communications, supervising and mentoring television news students in all aspects of a live daily newscast on KBYU-TV-11.
